Details
While many candles are full of harmful chemicals such as carcinogens and lead, 100% pure beeswax candles are completely toxin free. Beeswax candles have naturally long burn times, a lovely honey scent and are virtually drip-free. What's not to love!
Care + Tips
- Make sure your beeswax candle is snug and secure in a proper candle holder.
- It is best to light the candle at the base of the wick rather than the tip to get the wax flowing.
- If you find the wick to be too long, trim it no shorter than half an inch - anything more may cause dripping!
- Always burn candles in a draft free environment. Under most conditions these candles are virtually dripless!
- Candles should be kept out of the reach of pets and children and should never be left unsupervised.

"Honey Candles is a proud Canadian company that is family owned and operated. With a small staff of skilled employees, we have been perfecting our craft for more than 30 years and are a leading choice for premium handmade 100% pure beeswax candles.
At Honey Candles we support small business by purchasing supplies locally whenever possible. Our beeswax is sourced from apiaries in Western Canada, and most of our packaging and displays are made in British Columbia using recycled materials.
Beeswax candles have long been coveted for their inherent honey scent, and naturally long burning qualities and we pride ourselves on making beautiful candles that you can be proud to own and burn."
"We are committed to fostering sustainability for bees and other essential pollinators. We source wax from ethical beekeepers who love their bees and work to preserve them.
As a by-product of food pollination and honey production, beeswax is a truly natural wax.
Without chemical processing or requiring dedicated farm land, beeswax candles are the preferred ecologically conscious choice for your healthy home. We use only 100% pure cappings beeswax sourced directly from Canadian beekeepers. When our wax arrives from the apiaries it is already filtered but we filter it again on site so that we can be confident that it is free of impurities. Honey Candles are carefully handcrafted using top quality cotton wicks selected specifically for each candle. We test dozens of different wick styles and sizes each time we develop a new candle. It’s these small things that mean our candles will provide a great burn every time."
Honey Candles donates a percentage of sales to vital honey bee research. Honey Bees are essential to food security and healthy ecosystems but their populations are being threatened by colony collapse disorder and other challenges.
Honey Candles also donates to a local not-for-profit, Elk Root Conservation, that strives to protect, restore, and enhance pollinator habitats. They provide learning opportunities through research, innovation, and hands-on education as well as running habitat conservation projects.
