Make a bold statement with the Static Basket, one of our best-selling signature designs handcrafted in Rwanda using traditional weaving techniques passed down through generations.

Each basket is handmade with heart by Burundian and Congolese refugees at the Mahama and Kigeme Refugee Camps in Rwanda through our Economic Inclusion for Refugees program, which provides access to employment, training, and global markets.

Hand dyed in salmon pink, yellow, and black accents, this basket is woven from locally sourced sisal and sweetgrass. Measuring 12” wide by 3” high, it’s ideal as a fruit basket, wall basket, or vibrant decorative accent.

A built-in loop on the back allows for easy hanging, making it perfect for gallery walls or layered basket styling.

Skilled artisans use a range of natural, raw materials sourced in Rwanda and Ghana including sweetgrass, banana leaf, bolga straw, raffia, organic yarn, palm leaf, and more.
