Sammita 4x6 Picture Frame
In the Indian culture Sammita means balance or symmetry. This handcrafted frame features cruelty-free bone on one side and sustainably sourced mango wood on the other, with brass accents. Carving traditions are passed down from one generation to the next by Indian artisans.
Master artisans in North Central India collect bones from naturally deceased animals to create functional and decorative items. The process of collecting these bones keeps them from going into the landfill. These bones undergo rigorous cleaning and sanitation before skilled craftsmen and women hand-carve and inlay them into exquisite frames and other items.
-Materials: cruelty-free bone, sustainable mango wood, brass, MDF and glass
-Outer dimensions: 6.5W x 3/4"D x 8.5"H
-Fits 4x6 picture and includes both a table top easel and d-ring for hanging
Each frame in Matr Boomie's collection is handmade, fair trade and sustainable.
