Cone-shaped box carved from wood and blue angelite gemstone. A dreamy accent for your nightstand or desk to hold jewels, airpods and more. The cone everything catchall box is carved using traditional wood carpentry techniques in Magdalena de Cao, Perú. The sphere-shaped gemstone handle is a geometric element that makes the moment of opening it up feel extra special. 

-Approximate size: 5.5" L x 5.5" W x 5.5" H
-Materials: Body and lid are carved from wooden cachimba with a stone handle. Gemstone on lid is blue angelite.

D.A.R. Proyectos, Desarollo Artesanos Responsables, is a sustainable living brand whose objective is to act as a bridge between artisanal communities and the design market. In our communities of Pacasmayo, Peru we integrate design, empowerment and social innovation over the long term.

A FATEFUL MEETING

Not many expect to find their future life partner in the jungle, but that’s exactly where DAR Proyectos co-founders Jenny Boucher and Mauricio Navarro first met.

Jenny arrived in the Peruvian Amazon working as a designer on a trade mission between Peru and Canada. A lifetime student of textiles, she aimed to understand ancient cultural traditions and breathe life into skilled artisan craft.

There, she met Mauricio, an award-winning Peruvian industrial designer who charmed her with his knowledge of indigenous craft heritage and passion for design within cultural practice at the heart of it.

They shared a vision and continued to bring it to life in vastly diverse regions throughout Peru.
