Amace Basket
The Amace Basket is a limited-edition design handcrafted by refugee artisans in Rwanda to honor World Refugee Day. Designed by Pacifique N. and her cooperative, Igisubizo (“solutions” in Kinyarwanda), Amace means “Mother’s Part”—a tribute to the strength and love of mothers in their community.
Woven from hand-dyed sisal wrapped around bunches of sweetgrass, this colorful, symbolic piece blends tradition with personal expression. Use it as a fruit bowl, wall art, or a meaningful accent in your home. Each basket in the HOPE Collection is a labor of love and a symbol of resilience.
Dimensions: 12" W x 3" H
Materials: Hand-dyed sisal wrapped around sweetgrass
